Just days after Morgan Freeman was involved in a serious car accident it was revealed that the actor and his wife of 24 years, costumer Myrna Colley-Lee, were getting a divorce.
Although Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman split in July after five years of dating, they have been spotted out and about making people wonder if they are together again. While we can only hope that they have reconciled, the funny couple refuses to define their current relationship.

Simon Cowell and his longtime gal pal Terri Seymour broke up after six years of dating. The reason for the split? Terri reportedly wants to have children, while the "American Idol" judge has no plans to become a dad.

Since Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong had introduced their children to one another, it seemed as if they were getting serious. Alas, the serial daters went their separate ways after just three months of dating.
After David Duchovny had been released from rehab for sex addiction, he and his wife of 11 years, Tea Leoni, released a joint statement saying they had been separated for several months.

Things got ugly after teen heartthrob Joe Jonas broke up with Taylor Swift ... by phone. Although the country star claimed that actress Camilla Belle was the reason for their split, the middle JoBro retorted in an online letter to his fans that he's never cheated on any of his girlfriends.
Carrie Underwood and Chace Crawford made one gorgeous couple, but they couldn't make their relationship work. The country cutie told Extra in April that they "broke up over text" and it was "completely mutual."

Although she stood by him as he battled alcoholism and entered rehab in 2006, Robin Williams' wife of 19 years, Marsha Garces, filed for divorce in March.

Lovey-dovey couple Justin Long and Drew Barrymore seemed to be inseparable ... until they split in July.
"Saturday Night Live" alum Chris Kattan and his wife, model Sunshine Tutt, divorced after just two months of marriage.

A suspicious Adrian Grenier broke things off with "Transformers 2" star Isabel Lucas shortly after she was involved in a car accident where Shia LaBeouf was behind the wheel.

Mandy Moore's musician boyfriend Ryan Adams blamed their breakup on the paparazzi, claiming that he is "allergic" to cameras.

Benji Madden split with his fiancee, Australian pop singer/model/actress Sophie Monk, in February. Shortly after, the Good Charlotte guitarist was spotted hooking up with Paris Hilton.

Michael Bolton and Nicollette Sheridan decided to go their separate ways for a second time in August. The couple, who first dated from 1992-1997, reunited in 2005 and announced their engagement in 2006.
"My Name is Earl" star Jaime Pressly and her fiance, Eric Cubiche, decided to "take a break" in November. The couple have a 1-year-old son named Dezi.

Although they had already set a wedding date, "Bachelorette" Deanna Pappas broke Jesse Csincsak's heart when she called off their engagement in November.

Natalie Portman and her folk-rocker boyfriend Devendra Barnhart broke up in September. The actress began dating the musician after starring in his "Carmensita" video.

Dylan McDermott filed for divorce from Shiva Rose after 12 years of marriage. The couple has two daughters.

Although Liv Tyler was quoted in 2004 as saying, "I don't believe in divorce," she and her hubby, British rocker Royston Langdon, separated in May. They have one son named Milo.

When Holly Madison realized she'd never be able to marry or have babies with Hugh Hefner, she decided it was time to move on ... to magician Criss Angel!

Star Jones and Al Reynolds had a fairytale wedding in 2004 that led the former "View" cohost to believe that their love would last forever. Of course, it didn't. Jones filed for divorce in March 2008.
Although he said she was his soulmate, Evan Rachel Wood reportedly dumped Marilyn Manson in November. Ironically, Wood was rumored to be the reason why Manson's ex-wife Dita Von Teese filed for divorce in 2006.
Anne Hathaway broke off her four-year relationship with Raffaello Follieri in June after he was arrested and plead guilty to wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy.
Kanye West and his fiancee, designer Alexis Phifer, called off their engagement in April. The rapper recently told People magazine that he "wants to have kids," but is still looking for the right girl.

Although Carey Hart and Pink announced that they were divorcing in February, the motocross racer told People.com that he hopes to reconcile with his pop star ex.

After eight years of marriage, Guy Ritchie and Madonna threw in the towel. The "Material Girl's" ex is said to be receiving at least $76 million as part of the divorce settlement!
Although everyone speculated that George Clooney was finally ready to settle down with Sarah Larson, the swinging bachelor broke the former Las Vegas cocktail waitress' heart in May.
Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon had their marriage of five months annulled in March. Both parties cited "fraud" as the reason for their split.
Michael Buble and Emily Blunt parted ways after a three-year relationship. The crooner and Golden Globe-winning actress (who is now dating "The Office's" John Krasinski) met backstage at one of Buble's concerts.
